This blog is going to surface as the new "MMR" for the internet world. This site is dedicated to bands that do not have the recognition that they deserve. It also serves to give bands an internet presence that might be lacking.
Welcome to Consigned To Oblivion!
We at Slissy International Industries have decided that the extreme underground music scene has been overlooked for too long. There are many followers of bands that cannot gain access to things such as reviews and interviews for bands that most likely have NO promotion or distribution whatsoever. Therefore, we have made this site to begin archiving these amazing bands that need more attention as well as a presence. So take your time browsing through this site, you will end up exposed to groups that you never knew existed before.

Iggy Pop TV Eye 1977 live
A hot find I picked up today Is Iggy's live in 1977 LP. Even though the Stooges aren't playing on this record you'd hardly notice that its not them. They play extremely raw and the quality of the recording is what I'd call "mid-fi." Which actually creates a great energy on this LP. It has some seriously great power to it. The songs were all recorded in Cleveland, KC Missouri, and the Aragon "Brawl-room" in beautiful Chicago.
They play a couple Stooges tracks that certainly hit right on point. The version of "Lust For Life" drives full speed ahead. Iggy, as usual, goes off and changes lyrics throughout this preformance and as expected you wouldn't even know he was doing it. This record isn't necessarily a must have, however, if you are an Iggy or a Stooges fan this is by far (in my opinion) the best live record out there.

About Me
- Brandon Marlo
- This site is not about me, it is about the music that has the potential to either be great or to be lost in the annals of time. Most of these bands do not get the credit or following that they deserve so this site is dedicated to you all.
