This blog is going to surface as the new "MMR" for the internet world. This site is dedicated to bands that do not have the recognition that they deserve. It also serves to give bands an internet presence that might be lacking.
Welcome to Consigned To Oblivion!
We at Slissy International Industries have decided that the extreme underground music scene has been overlooked for too long. There are many followers of bands that cannot gain access to things such as reviews and interviews for bands that most likely have NO promotion or distribution whatsoever. Therefore, we have made this site to begin archiving these amazing bands that need more attention as well as a presence. So take your time browsing through this site, you will end up exposed to groups that you never knew existed before.

F.O.D. "Shatter Your Day"
Flag of Democracy (F.O.D.) has been a long time running and not well known punk band from the east coast. Shatter Your Day was recorded in 1985. The one thing about this record is that not only is it ahead of its time but it stands up to the test of time. This record sounds like the bastard child of the Dead Kennedy's and Propagandhi. This record proves that hardcore can still be fun. F.O.D. has put out many records and not one of them do I feel are not mediocre records. This record is dangerous in that the title is absolutely correct since the opening is on the bottom of the jacket. So if your not careful this record will fall out and "shatter." I love simple gimmicks. This record mixes early thrash punk and melodic hardcore. It isn't for everyone but if you like a unique sound (which is what the early days of punk were all about) then give it a shot. It almost has a party vibe with a mixture of great songwriting and a lighthearted attitude. So here it is... Enjoy!

About Me
- Brandon Marlo
- This site is not about me, it is about the music that has the potential to either be great or to be lost in the annals of time. Most of these bands do not get the credit or following that they deserve so this site is dedicated to you all.
