Doc Dart's "Patricia" is one of those records that you will love or hate. Most people cannot get behind Doc Darts piercing shrill voice. But to me that is what creates his legend. After many years in the Crucifucks, Doc put out this "solo" release in 1990. This is one of my all time favorite records. I have been listening to it for about 15 years and it has never once gotton stale. Not only does Doc deliver great poetry in his lyrics but the construction of the music goes perfect with his leads. This is not a "punk" album, however that is the closest genre to put it in. It is very musically talented from the song writing to the delivery of the songs. 9 songs and not a weak moment to be found. It is truly a shame that this record among his other releases have gone by the wayside. Enjoy this record and make sure you pay close attention to it. It may just give you a new outlook on life.
