Welcome to Consigned To Oblivion!

We at Slissy International Industries have decided that the extreme underground music scene has been overlooked for too long. There are many followers of bands that cannot gain access to things such as reviews and interviews for bands that most likely have NO promotion or distribution whatsoever. Therefore, we have made this site to begin archiving these amazing bands that need more attention as well as a presence. So take your time browsing through this site, you will end up exposed to groups that you never knew existed before.

Als Je Haar Maar Goed Zit... NR. 2

A long time ago I fell in love with Dutch Punk. And when I went to the Netherlands I was talking with my cousin about this record. It turned out he had it and one day to my surprise it was in my mailbox! I am extremely proud of my Dutch heritage and hearing a Dutch punk compilation from 1983 that blows most bands (that era up till now) out of the water excites me. The Dutch have always been true to the original punk ideals of not copying someone elses sound, and this LP is a prime example of how well they do it. Most people have some familiarity with BGK since they were released on Alternative Tentacles, but there are a bunch of other bands that you probably have not heard on this comp that you will be glad that you gave it a listen. Zmiv has been one of my favorites over the years and they have 3 tracks on this LP that in true Zmiv style rip some serious hardcore (Especially "Loose It"). Null A gives us "Ratz!!" which is one of my favorite tracks on this LP.  Amsterdamned start of side 2 with a blast of power that make you want to hear their tracks over and over. B.G.K. gives us a hell of a track "Cross Criminals" on side 2 as well as Outlawz (Not the rap group) ripping through "Enola Gy / Anyway." It is truly sad that the Dutch do not get the credit they deserve in the punk / hardcore scene and it is even more sad that this record has gone completely under the radar. This is one of my personal favorite complition LP's.
